About the position

The Territory Account Manager is responsible for driving sales of Panasonic's rugged technology products to the United States Air Force and other Department of Defense agencies. This role requires a proactive sales approach, leveraging 5 to 10 years of direct sales experience in the technology sector to develop and manage strategic business plans within the assigned territory. The ideal candidate will have prior experience with the Air Force and a strong understanding of its command structure and acquisition processes.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, develop, and close sales of Panasonic Rugged Laptops, Tablets, Handhelds, and Mobility Products to the Air Force and other DoD agencies.
  • Achieve a minimum of 100% of assigned sales quota.
  • Develop business relationships with assigned end users and value-added resellers (VARs) through communication and personal visits.
  • Promote new and key products through demonstrations and presentations.
  • Manage customer service issues to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention.
  • Develop and identify new end user opportunities through prospecting and key end user calls.
  • Provide timely, accurate sales reports and forecasts.
  • Maintain a high level of product technical knowledge and competitive awareness.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of direct end user technology sales experience to the Air Force or other DoD agencies.
  • Strong communication skills, including presentation experience to large groups.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with rugged and semi-rugged mobility products.
  • Knowledge of Air Force acquisition methodologies.
