About the position

The Territory Account Manager will represent Wana Brands in downstate New York/Manhattan, focusing on sales, marketing, brand awareness, and strategy. This role is crucial for driving growth and sales while acting as a liaison between customers and the CUSA portfolio. The ideal candidate will connect with leads, present product differentiators, and nurture a geographic database, all while embodying the philosophy of servant selling. The position requires strong communication with retail partners and regular updates to management.

Responsibilities

  • Grow sales territory for Manhattan area and downstate New York.
  • Conduct and analyze market research to determine opportunities, trends, and risks in the territory/market.
  • Define and assess market opportunities and develop go-to-market strategy.
  • Evaluate Wana commercial sales approach continuously.
  • Drive new business as an outward-facing evangelist.
  • Develop business partnerships leveraging industry relationships as required.
  • Achieve monthly and quarterly sales targets and goals.
  • Represent Wana at industry events, conferences, and tradeshows.
  • Conduct an average of 20 sales visits per week.

Requirements

  • Experience in Sales/Business Development and/or marketing, preferably within the cannabis industry.
  • Experience working directly with customers.
  • Ability to organize, implement, and maintain sales strategies and programs.
  • Outstanding presentation and communication skills.
  • Results-oriented team player with thorough business fundamentals.
  • Track record of successfully delivering against revenue and other quantitative goals.
  • Proven ability to perform in high-visibility, high-growth environments.
  • Hands-on approach and willingness to drive new business and work independently.
  • Excellent written and verbal skills.
  • Prior experience with pop-ups and promotions is a plus.
  • Proficient technical skills including use of MS Office and CRM software.
  • Flexible schedule and ability to work some weekends and evenings.

Nice-to-haves

  • Cannabis experience is a plus but not required.
