About the position

The Territory Account Manager for EquipmentShare's Advanced Solutions rental location in Richmond, VA is responsible for expanding the customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. This role involves managing territory sales strategies, responding to customer inquiries, and developing new business opportunities within the Pump, Power, and HVAC sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Manage territory and execute full sales strategy including market analysis, sales forecasting, and revenue growth.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads and requests using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction and support.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience with a strong sales track record.
  • Knowledge of Pump, Power & HVAC equipment or industry preferred, but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay educated on products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
