About the position

As a Territory Account Manager at Panasonic North America, you will be an integral part of a dynamic team dedicated to the restaurant, retail, and hospitality sectors. Your primary focus will be on promoting the Panasonic Connect portfolio, which includes a range of hardware, software, and services tailored to meet the needs of these industries. This role is designed for a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is driven by the challenge of generating new business opportunities. You will be responsible for identifying qualified end-user targets, engaging with them, and ultimately converting them into loyal customers. A hunter mindset is essential, as this position emphasizes the importance of prospecting and developing new brand opportunities. In this role, you will research and engage potential clients within the restaurant, retail, and hospitality verticals, showcasing products such as the Stingray POS and Kiosk Hardware, Attune Drive Thru Headsets, and ClearConnect Digital Signage Solutions. Your efforts will contribute to pipeline development and revenue generation, aligning with the company's objectives. You will manage a designated geographic territory that includes current customers, channel partners, and prospects, focusing on driving new business growth while nurturing existing relationships to expand product offerings. To achieve maximum growth and meet or exceed assigned revenue targets, you will develop a comprehensive territory, sales, and marketing strategy. Building strong relationships with reseller partners in your territory will be crucial for driving collaborative opportunities for Panasonic's POS and Attune Headsets. You will leverage Salesforce CRM to track and monitor all sales activities, ensuring that you stay organized and focused on your goals.

Responsibilities

  • Research, prospect, engage and cultivate new business in the restaurant, retail and hospitality verticals.
  • Develop and identify new end user opportunities through prospecting and key end user calls and demos.
  • Manage a geographic territory consisting of current customers, channel partners, and prospects.
  • Develop a winning territory, sales and marketing strategy to achieve maximum growth and meet or exceed assigned revenue targets.
  • Develop business and relationships with reseller partners focused in your territory.
  • Leverage Salesforce CRM to track and monitor all sales activities.

Requirements

  • A hunter mindset focused on heavy volume of outbound activity.
  • Hospitality and Retail technology sales experience required, with a focus on POS and Kiosk Hardware, Drive Thru systems, and/or Digital Signage.
  • The ability to articulate the product portfolio in a sales process, present the offering and close the deal.
  • BA or BS in Business Administration, or applicable industry experience.
  • Experience with CRM based tools such as Salesforce preferred.

Nice-to-haves

  • Knowledge of the restaurant and/or retail space is a plus.
