About the position

The Territory Account Manager at Keysight Technologies is responsible for managing and growing business within the Austin, TX area. This role involves developing accounts, identifying new customers, and proposing tailored business and technical solutions to meet customer needs. The ideal candidate will be a motivated sales professional with a strong background in the test and measurement industry, capable of leading internal teams to drive customer satisfaction and sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a territory in the Austin, TX area to grow business and implement a business plan.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing and new customers.
  • Promote and sell products and solutions to customers and inform them of new product introductions.
  • Create, monitor, and revise lead generation plans.
  • Understand customer needs and identify solutions to non-standard tasks/queries.
  • Lead projects requiring coordination with other functions and organizations.
  • Generate existing and new sales for the assigned territory.
  • Maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.

Requirements

  • Technical BS Degree (ideally in Electrical Engineering) or relevant technical sales experience.
  • 3-5 years of industry-related experience in technical product sales.
  • Successful track record of exceeding sales targets and interfacing with customers at all levels.
  • Ability to manage complex sales opportunities and develop business plans for sales growth.
  • Solid understanding of digital, RF/microwave, wireless, and general-purpose test & measurement applications.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional teams including sales and factory personnel.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Effective presentation and problem-solving skills.
