About the position

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) at United Site Services is responsible for managing all sales activities within a designated geographical territory, focusing on projects related to existing and potential customers, particularly those exceeding $5 million. The role involves building relationships across various sectors including Construction, Industrial, Events, Government, and Agricultural, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving revenue growth through effective sales strategies and collaboration with internal teams.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct effective sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely handling of customer requests.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve inquiries and issues.
  • Analyze competitor activities and assess business development opportunities.
  • Network with local businesses and attend industry events to build relationships.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting existing and potential accounts.
  • Produce quotes and document sales activities using Salesforce.
  • Follow up on sales leads from other representatives.
  • Work closely with other account managers to maximize sales opportunities.
  • Meet revenue targets and KPIs set by the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals and motivating sales teams.
  • Experience in territory management and customer relationship development.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to sell value and differentiate from competitors.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance.

  • Experience in prospecting, cold calling, and referral generation.
  • Ability to keep up with industry news to identify new business opportunities.
