About the position

The Territory Account Manager at EquipmentShare is responsible for expanding the customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals. This role involves managing a geographical territory, executing sales strategies, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and support.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a geographical territory and execute full sales strategy from market analysis to revenue growth.
  • Respond quickly to inbound leads and requests using Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systems.
  • Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with EquipmentShare's services.
  • Promptly respond to and resolve customer inquiries, requests, and complaints.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Develop new sales strategies and techniques to increase market share and improve customer experience.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience with a strong sales track record.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction equipment or industry experience in rental or construction preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay educated on EquipmentShare products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in B2B sales is preferred but not mandatory.
