About the position

The Territory Account Manager at EquipmentShare is responsible for expanding the customer base by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals in Hartford, CT. This role involves executing sales strategies, managing territory accounts, and ensuring customer satisfaction through effective communication and service delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Manage territory accounts and execute sales strategies for revenue growth.
  • Respond to inbound leads and requests using CRM systems.
  • Develop new business and acquire clients by building relationships with contractors and construction company principals.
  • Maintain and nurture existing customer relationships to ensure satisfaction with EquipmentShare's services.
  • Promptly address and resolve customer inquiries and complaints.
  • Conduct sales presentations to prospective and existing customers.
  • Create and implement new sales strategies to increase market share.

Requirements

  • Proven outside sales experience with a strong sales track record.
  • Knowledge of heavy construction equipment or industry experience in B2B sales preferred but not required.
  • Strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
  • Technical aptitude to adapt to a fast-paced environment and stay educated on products and services.
  • Competitive, self-motivated, and results-driven with a team-oriented mindset.
  • Ability to manage strategic and national accounts.
