About the position

The Territory Account Manager (TAM) at United Site Services is responsible for managing all sales activities within a designated geographical territory, focusing on projects related to existing and potential customers, particularly those exceeding $5 million. The role involves engaging with various sectors including Construction, Industrial, Events, Government, and Agricultural, ensuring customer satisfaction and driving business growth through effective sales strategies and relationship management.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct effective sales presentations tailored to customer needs.
  • Coordinate with various departments to ensure timely handling of customer requests.
  • Act as a liaison between customers and internal teams to resolve inquiries and issues.
  • Analyze competitor activities and assess business development opportunities.
  • Network with local businesses and attend industry events to build relationships.
  • Develop and implement sales strategies targeting existing and potential accounts.
  • Produce quotes and document sales activities using Salesforce.
  • Follow up on sales leads and collaborate with other account managers.
  • Work towards revenue targets and KPIs set by the Director of Sales.

Requirements

  • Proven track record of meeting sales goals and motivating sales teams.
  • Experience in territory management and building customer relationships.
  • Strong presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce.com and Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to prospect, cold call, and generate referrals.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Valid Driver's License and proof of current automobile insurance.
