About the position

The position involves executing blood donor recruitment programs, managing all aspects of the recruitment process to meet goals for an assigned territory. The role requires developing professional relationships, seeking new blood drive opportunities, and utilizing technology to support effective blood drives.

Responsibilities

  • Executes blood donor recruitment programs to meet goals for assigned territory
  • Develops and maintains effective professional business relationships with donor drive chairpersons
  • Seeks out prospective blood drive opportunities with new and existing customers
  • Utilizes independent judgment to adapt approach and communication style for blood drive accounts
  • Determines appropriate marketing and promotional materials needed to achieve established goals
  • Manages blood drive scheduling to optimize business needs
  • Represents the organization at community involvement events
  • Leverages available technologies and channels to support blood drives
  • Manages and prioritizes time and resources to maximize effectiveness of territory
  • Adheres to all administrative duties including on-time compliance for reporting requests.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience
  • Prior sales experience preferred
  • Valid driver's license and clear driving record
  • Ability to perform tasks effectively utilizing digital technology and communication tools
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret business periodicals and technical procedures
  • Ability to write reports and business correspondence
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups
  • Ability to deliver compelling presentations to small and large groups
  • Ability to quickly establish rapport with new business contacts
  • Ability to solve practical problems in variable situations
  • Intermediate computer skills including knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Ability to speak, write, read, and understand standard English
  • Ability to commute with personal transportation.
