About the position

The Territory Business Manager is responsible for generating new business within the hospitality sector by building strong relationships and closing deals. This role requires high energy and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced environment, focusing on cold-calling and daily customer interactions to drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Grow a pipeline to meet quarterly targets as directed by the supervising manager.
  • Develop sales opportunities by researching and identifying potential accounts.
  • Solicit new accounts, build rapport, and prepare quotations.
  • Generate leads and qualify them through cold calls and inbound leads.
  • Negotiate successfully with skilled or resistant groups.
  • Establish common ground and focus on win-win outcomes while protecting organizational interests.
  • Achieve challenging sales goals and manage accounts within a designated region.
  • Use territory analysis to target top prospects.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years' business-to-business or outside field sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
  • Successful track record working with sales organizations to achieve and exceed sales goals.
  • Ability to make compelling presentations to medical offices using visual aids and other media.
  • Experience in the medical field preferred but not required.
