About the position

The Territory Business Manager for Neuromuscular Sales at Takeda is responsible for executing sales strategies and demand generation efforts to achieve regional objectives for the Immune Globulin (IG) business in Central/Northern New Jersey. This role involves raising awareness and educating healthcare professionals about rare neuromuscular conditions while ensuring patient access to Takeda's IG portfolio. The position requires collaboration with various teams and stakeholders to enhance customer satisfaction and drive sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas and goals through growing product volume.
  • Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations and provide product information.
  • Educate healthcare professionals on neuromuscular conditions and Takeda support resources.
  • Understand influence points within healthcare offices affecting diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in community education events and Neurology conferences.
  • Analyze and interpret data for sales strategies and document a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with promotional and expense policies.
  • Embrace a patient-centric culture aligned with Takeda's values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful healthcare sales experience.
  • Must live within the territory geography.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends.
  • Clinical sales background in rare disease or Neurology/Neuromuscular preferred.
  • Experience in specialty sales including specialty pharmacy/distribution preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites of care and product channels.
  • Demonstrated success in launch execution of new therapeutic options.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret data for effective sales strategies.

  • Experience in managing large/multi-state geography.
  • Experience with injectables/infusions and patient HUBs.
