About the position

The Territory Business Manager will execute sales strategies and demand generation efforts to achieve regional objectives for Takeda's Immune Globulin (IG) business in the Neuromuscular space, specifically in the Rochester, NY/Syracuse, NY territory. This role involves raising awareness and educating healthcare professionals about rare neuromuscular conditions while ensuring patient access to Takeda's IG portfolio through collaboration with various teams and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas and goals through growing product volume.
  • Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations and provide product information.
  • Understand influence points within the office affecting diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in community education events and Neurology conferences.
  • Analyze and interpret data for sales strategies and document a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with promotional and expense policies.
  • Embrace a patient-centric culture aligned with Takeda's values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of relevant healthcare sales experience.
  • Must live within the territory geography.
  • Must be 18 years of age or older with a valid driver's license.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasionally on weekends.
  • Clinical sales background with experience in rare disease and Neurology/Neuromuscular specialties preferred.
  • Experience in specialty sales including specialty pharmacy/distribution preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites of care and product channels.
  • Demonstrated success in launch execution of new therapeutic options.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Strong leadership and decision-making abilities.
