About the position

The Territory Business Manager will be responsible for executing sales strategies and demand generation efforts for Takeda's Immune Globulin (IG) business in the Neuromuscular space across the Rochester, NY/Syracuse, NY territory. This role involves raising awareness and educating healthcare professionals about rare neuromuscular conditions while ensuring patient access to Takeda's IG portfolio. The position requires collaboration with various teams and customer engagement to achieve sales goals and maintain compliance with company policies.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales quotas and goals through growing product volume.
  • Conduct customer engagements to deliver sales presentations and provide product information.
  • Understand influence points within the office affecting diagnosis and treatment.
  • Participate in community education events and Neurology conferences.
  • Analyze and interpret data for sales strategies and document a pipeline of opportunities.
  • Collaborate with multiple teams to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Maintain compliance with promotional and expense policies.
  • Embrace a patient-centric culture aligned with Takeda's values.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of successful healthcare sales experience.
  • Must live within the territory geography.
  • Must be 18 years or older with a valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
  • Able to travel 50% of the time, including overnight and occasional weekends.
  • Clinical sales background in rare disease or Neurology/Neuromuscular preferred.
  • Experience in specialty sales including specialty pharmacy/distribution preferred.
  • Ability to work across multiple sites of care and product channels.
  • Demonstrated success in launch execution of new therapeutic options.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
