About the position

The Territory Sales Manager is a contractor role focused on managing and growing sales within a designated territory for Mitra-9 Brands, a company specializing in premium botanical beverage products. The position involves direct interaction with retailers, executing sales initiatives, and building strong client relationships to enhance product visibility and drive sales. This part-time role requires a reliable vehicle and offers flexible hours, primarily during weekdays with occasional weekend work.

Responsibilities

• Manage territory by servicing, selling in, and/or self-distributing into assigned doors.
• Execute sales initiatives to grow product sales volume and increase points of distribution.
• In-store execution of product positioning, cooler/shelf space, pricing display, and merchandising.
• Ensure Mitra-9 brands are well represented, stocked, and maintained in prime locations.
• Uncover new opportunities and maintain current customer relationships.
• Implement promotional campaigns and merchandising strategies to enhance product visibility.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Develop a deep understanding of product lines to effectively communicate value to customers.
• Record and manage retailer orders and follow up to ensure timely delivery.
• Assist retailers with product training and support.

Requirements

• High School diploma or GED.
• Experience working in the consumer-packaged goods space, preferably in beverages and convenience.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to establish relationships with key accounts.
• Knowledge of kratom and kava is a plus.
• Must have a reliable vehicle and a clean driving record.
