About the position

The Territory Manager, Dealer Sales position at Global Furniture Group is a pivotal role aimed at enhancing the company's presence and sales within the contract furniture market. This position is responsible for increasing awareness and interest among dealers, designers, and end-users regarding Global's brand, product offerings, and capabilities. The successful candidate will be tasked with identifying and selecting dealer targets that are not only willing but also capable of growing Global's sales. This involves a strategic approach to market coverage, assessing the existing dealers' capacity for growth, and identifying new dealer candidates to expand the company's reach. In addition to dealer management, the Territory Manager will play a crucial role in involving Global in projects that align with the company's product services and capabilities. Building and nurturing relationships with design firms, commercial real estate brokers, and other project influencers is essential for success in this role. The candidate will need to be a compelling presenter, capable of effectively communicating with both external and internal clients to drive sales and foster collaboration. Responsibilities

  • Identify/select dealer targets willing and capable of growing Global sales.
  • Identify/involve Global in projects that fit Global's products services and capabilities.
  • Ensure appropriate market coverage by assessing existing dealers' capacity to grow and identifying new dealer candidates.
  • Develop relationships with design firms, commercial real estate brokers and other project influencers.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience or military equivalent.
  • 3-5 years experience in contract furniture or related industry preferred.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.
  • Excellent work ethic.
  • Team player who shares information and works collaboratively with others.
  • Compelling presenter.
  • Ability to communicate efficiently with external and internal clients.
