About the position

The Territory Manager for HVAC Sales is responsible for maximizing sales volume by working directly with representatives, contractors, and other stakeholders. This role requires strong leadership and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to address hands-on problems with practical solutions. The ideal candidate will thrive on achievement and work autonomously when necessary, focusing on customer satisfaction and effective project execution.

Responsibilities

  • Secure quotations for the sale of large projects through representatives and distributors of Linx Industries' products.
  • Evaluate customer orders and suggest efficient product use regarding application, space, and airflow.
  • Provide technical and sales support for products and develop brand awareness with customers/clients.
  • Assist customers with submittals and bill of material (BOM) quotations, and follow up on previous quotations.
  • Contact current and potential customers via email, telephone, and fax, and visit establishments to evaluate needs and promote sales.
  • Grow awareness of markets and competitors' activities, recognizing trends and communicating findings to the Business Development Manager.
  • Attend sales and trade shows and read related publications to obtain current market information and industry developments.
  • Provide technical support for products and CADVent software.
  • Submit product orders and follow up to ensure accuracy and timely delivery, resolving any issues that arise.
  • Obtain building blueprints and submit them to the takeoff department for bidding.
  • Create and deliver PowerPoint presentations for product offerings to engineers, contractors, and building owners.

Requirements

  • Mechanical Engineering degree preferred or related field of study considered.
  • 3+ years of experience in inside sales or sales support role.
  • 5+ years of experience in the construction industry and HVAC experience.
  • Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Detail-oriented with excellent time management and organizational skills.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills.
  • Strong understanding of sales and marketing processes, construction industry, and architectural drawings.
