About the position

The position involves marketing and selling Neptune products to water utilities within a designated geographic area. The role requires managing and supporting distributors, developing sales strategies, and providing feedback to the Regional Manager regarding customer needs and industry trends. The objective is to increase market share, sales volume, and profitability while maintaining strong relationships with customers and distributors.

Responsibilities

  • Market and sell Neptune products to water utilities within an assigned geographic area.
  • Manage, train, challenge, and support distributors.
  • Provide input and feedback to the Regional Manager regarding customer needs and industry trends.
  • Develop sales and account strategies for assigned areas.
  • Provide ongoing forecast and long-term pipeline updates.
  • Participate in collections when necessary.
  • Increase market share, sales volume, and profitability in assigned territory.
  • Develop and implement sales plans and strategies for accounts.
  • Maintain positive customer and distributor relationships.
  • Analyze territory for optimum coverage and manage distributors.
  • Determine NTG market share by state and develop plans to increase it.
  • Provide superior service to all customers and distributors.
  • Monitor expenses and complete monthly and quarterly reporting requirements.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree preferred.
  • 2 years of related sales experience preferred.
  • Specific skills and experience may be required for specific positions.
