About the position

The Territory Manager will oversee the sales operations within the Omaha territory, which includes Nebraska, South Dakota, and Western Iowa. This role is crucial for achieving quarterly revenue targets and executing sales, marketing, and educational activities in collaboration with the Regional Business Director. The position demands a self-motivated individual with strong business acumen, capable of managing territory performance and providing accurate revenue forecasts while maintaining high motivation and clinical education.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the designated territory to meet or exceed quarterly revenue and business targets.
  • Work closely with the Regional Business Director to define and execute sales, marketing, and education activities.
  • Provide timely and accurate revenue forecasts and identify opportunities and risks to revenue objectives.
  • Maintain a high level of motivation and clinical education to efficiently cover cases across the territory.
  • Achieve the territory's sales quota for Pulmonx products.
  • Establish an environment for future growth and direct selling activities within the territory.
  • Prioritize effectively with guidance from the Regional Business Director.
  • Responsible for territory forecasting and updating sales sheets.
  • Develop and adhere to an agreed-upon business plan approved by the Regional Business Director and VP of Sales.
  • Evaluate market trends and gather competitive information to identify trends affecting territory sales growth.
  • Assist in special projects as assigned by the Regional Business Director.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required.
  • 5+ years of documented success in medical device sales.
  • Experience developing and driving commercialization of new technology.
  • Endoscopy, pulmonary, and/or MIS surgery experience.
  • Demonstrated ability to work with interventionalists, clinicians, nurses, and other hospital personnel.
  • Experience with the sales process for interventional pulmonology, bronchoscopy, and/or endoscopy products is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Strong relationships and closing skills with a passion for the customer, patient, and product.
  • Knowledge of thoracic and pulmonary interventional procedures and professional education for training purposes.
  • Strong work ethic, high energy/drive, and personal integrity.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with interventional pulmonology products.
  • Familiarity with clinical programs and new technology development.
