About the position

Evergreen is seeking a Territory Manager for Outside Field Sales to join our dynamic team. This role is pivotal in connecting with independent retailers across various channels, including hardware stores, garden centers, drug/pharmacies, specialty gift shops, and hospital gift stores. The Territory Manager will be responsible for managing a diverse territory that includes Detroit, Ann Arbor, Monroe, Benton Harbor, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Muskegon, Big Rapids, Ludington, and surrounding areas. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment where income potential is unlimited and directly correlated with sales achievements. As a Territory Manager, you will be part of a cohesive team that values collaboration, learning, and listening. You will have the chance to introduce new products five times a year to the retail marketplace, manage over 100 accounts independently, and grow the active account base. Responsibilities

  • Manage a diverse territory including Detroit, Ann Arbor, Monroe, Benton Harbor, Grand Rapids, Lansing, Muskegon, Big Rapids, Ludington, and surrounding areas.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with independent retailers across various channels.
  • Organize and manage over 100 accounts independently while growing the active account base.
  • Introduce new products five times a year to the retail marketplace in the assigned territory.
  • Follow the Territory Manager playbook to implement best practices and daily habits for success.
  • Utilize advanced technology for ordering and inventory management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in outside sales, preferably in a territory management role.
  • Strong relationship-building skills with independent retailers.
  • Entrepreneurial mindset with a focus on business growth.
  • Ability to adapt easily and be flexible in a dynamic environment.
  • Proficiency in basic Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, OneDrive).
  • Savvy with social media management.
