About the position

The Territory Manager - Outside Sales at Lex Products Corporation is responsible for driving revenue and strategic growth within designated geographical markets. This role involves managing customer accounts, identifying opportunities for new product development, and ensuring timely delivery of products to meet customer needs. The position requires collaboration with the VP of Sales and Operations to enhance customer relationships and expand market presence.

Responsibilities

  • Develop customer accounts to lead profitable growth in vertical market sectors.
  • Identify customer/project opportunities for sustainable relationships and long-term profit.
  • Assist in creating strategies and execution plans for strategic customers and sales markets.
  • Fill the customer funnel and generate new product ideas.
  • Identify and research new potential vertical markets.
  • Manage project execution for critical customer orders in collaboration with Operations.
  • Develop and manage sales presentations for strategic accounts.

Requirements

  • Experience working for a company selling design-to-order electrical products is preferred.
  • Experience in Entertainment or Industrial applications is preferred.
  • Experience using an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) such as SAP, Oracle, or Microsoft NAV.
  • BS/BA preferred; HS Diploma/GED required.
  • Ability to act as a consultative salesperson and trusted advisor to customers.
  • Strong accountability to commitments made to customers.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills with attention to detail.
  • High level of professionalism and reliable work ethic.
  • Exceptional computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and perform well under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and within a team.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical abilities.
