About the position

Priority1, Inc. is seeking enthusiastic and polished individuals for the position of Territory Manager in Outside Sales, based in Chicago, IL. This role is designed for college graduates who are eager to embark on a career in sales within the logistics industry. As a Territory Manager, you will be responsible for business-to-business product and service sales, focusing on new business acquisition in a dynamic and rapidly growing company. The position offers a unique opportunity to develop superior selling skills while providing comprehensive logistics solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. The Territory Manager will engage in extensive prospecting, which includes B2B door-to-door cold calling, developing lead generation strategies, and utilizing CRM tools to track sales activities. You will be responsible for selling and setting up new accounts, as well as managing the accounts you establish. This role is not just about immediate sales; it is a career path that allows for personal and professional growth, with the potential to advance to Senior Territory Manager or Regional Sales Manager positions. At Priority1, we prioritize the training and development of our Territory Managers. New hires can expect three weeks of corporate training within their first 24 months, along with additional training opportunities as they progress in their careers. The Fast Start Program, which includes three months of in-the-field training with upper management, is designed to ensure that new Territory Managers are well-prepared to succeed in their roles. Responsibilities

  • Prospecting new business through B2B door-to-door cold calling

Requirements

  • 0-2 years of sales experience preferred
  • Bachelor's degree preferred, ideally in business, marketing, or communication
  • Involvement in campus activities, with athletic backgrounds highly recommended
  • Naturally enthusiastic and energetic demeanor
  • Polished and professional appearance
