About the position

The Territory Manager is responsible for developing and managing a sales territory, focusing on building lasting relationships with contractors and builders. This role emphasizes relationship selling, allowing the manager to create a substantial pipeline of business and earn uncapped commissions. The position requires coordination with inside sales support and vendors to promote products and services effectively, along with the execution of a detailed annual sales plan.

Responsibilities

• Call upon new and existing customers to develop new business opportunities in local markets.
• Coordinate closely with the inside sales support team and vendors to promote products and services.
• Develop and execute a detailed annual sales plan for the territory.
• Manage a multi-million dollar territory and demonstrate year-over-year growth.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors and builders.

Requirements

• Prior success selling roofing and/or building products in a B2B environment.
• Ability to demonstrate increased territory management year-over-year.
• Strong organization and communication skills.
• Self-starter with a passion for being a business partner to customers.
• Valid driver's license and satisfactory driving record.

Nice-to-haves

• Experience in outside sales and relationship management.
• Familiarity with building materials and distribution.
