About the position

Exeltis is seeking a dedicated and experienced Territory Manager / Pharmaceutical Sales Representative to join our team, focusing on Women's Healthcare. This full-time position is designed for a pharmaceutical sales professional who is driven by performance and has a strong desire to succeed. The successful candidate will be integral to our mission of providing exceptional customer service to the Women's Healthcare community. We have launched two new products in the last three years, expanding our portfolio to meet the evolving needs of women throughout their lives. As part of our team, you will have the opportunity to grow your career while contributing to the transformation of women's health on a global scale. In this role, you will act as the primary contact for healthcare professionals within your territory, executing sales and marketing strategies to promote our Women's Healthcare product line. Your primary call points will include OB/GYNs, high decile primary care physicians, and Planned Parenthood Clinics. You will be responsible for educating both existing and new physicians and their staff about the value of our product portfolio, providing them with essential information that aids in their decision-making process. You will utilize your knowledge and critical thinking skills to build strong relationships with healthcare providers, ensuring meaningful customer experiences that foster satisfaction and loyalty. Additionally, you will analyze sales data to identify potential opportunities and develop action plans to meet and exceed sales expectations. Addressing healthcare professionals' objections and concerns will be a key part of your responsibilities, as will collaborating with sales management and team members to align on business needs. You will also have opportunities to take on leadership roles and participate in conferences, training sessions, and product launches as required. Compliance with all regulations and company policies is essential in carrying out your responsibilities effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact within the territory for Women's Healthcare products.
  • Create demand and execute sales and marketing strategies for the product line.
  • Educate existing and new physicians and their staff on the value of the company's Women's Health products.
  • Utilize knowledge and dialogue skills to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and office staff.
  • Analyze sales data to determine potential and execute action plans to meet sales expectations.
  • Anticipate and address healthcare professionals' objections and concerns.
  • Investigate customer concerns and communicate with appropriate personnel to solve problems.
  • Collaborate with sales management and team members as business needs dictate.
  • Attend conferences, training, exhibits, meetings, and product launches as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in life sciences preferred.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented success ranking in the top 25%.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and action planning for sales execution.
  • Current relationships with OB/GYNs are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required.
  • Ability for 10-20% overnight travel to manage territory and attend meetings.
