About the position

The Territory Manager/Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Women's Healthcare at Exeltis is a full-time role focused on promoting the company's portfolio of women's health products. This position involves creating demand, executing sales and marketing strategies, and providing exceptional customer service to healthcare professionals, particularly OB/GYNs and PCPs. The role is integral to Exeltis' mission of becoming a leading company in women's healthcare, especially following the acquisition of Agile Therapeutics and the introduction of the Twirla contraceptive patch.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact within the territory, creating demand and executing sales and marketing strategies.
  • Educate existing and new physicians and their staff on the value of the company's women's health products.
  • Utilize knowledge and dialogue skills to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and office staff.
  • Analyze sales data to determine potential and execute an action plan to meet sales expectations.
  • Address healthcare professionals' objections, questions, and concerns effectively.
  • Investigate customer concerns and communicate with appropriate personnel to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with sales management and regional teammates as business needs dictate.
  • Attend conferences, training, exhibits, meetings, and product launches as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in life sciences preferred.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented success ranking in the top 25%.
  • Current relationships with OB/GYNs are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and action planning for sales execution.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a team player.
  • Ability for up to 10% overnight travel to manage territory and attend meetings.
  • Valid driver's license and maintenance of a satisfactory driving record.
