About the position

The Territory Manager/Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Women's Healthcare at Exeltis is a full-time role focused on promoting the company's portfolio of women's health products, particularly in the area of contraception. This position involves building relationships with healthcare professionals, educating them about product offerings, and executing sales and marketing strategies to drive demand within the assigned territory. The role is integral to Exeltis' mission of becoming a leader in women's healthcare, providing exceptional customer service, and contributing to groundbreaking advances in the field.

Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact within the territory, creating demand and executing sales and marketing strategies for the Women's Healthcare product line.
  • Educate existing and new physicians and their staff on the value of the company's portfolio of Women's Health products.
  • Utilize knowledge and critical thinking to gain access and build strong relationships with healthcare professionals (HCPs) and office staff.
  • Analyze sales data to determine potential and execute an action plan to meet and exceed sales expectations.
  • Anticipate and address HCP objections, questions, and concerns using appropriate resources and information.
  • Identify and investigate customer concerns, communicating with appropriate HCP staff or Exeltis personnel to solve problems in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with sales management, regional teammates, and Commercial Team members as business needs dictate.
  • Attend conferences, training, exhibits, meetings, and product launches as required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in the life sciences preferred.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented sales success ranking in the top 25%.
  • Current relationships with OB/GYNs are a plus.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and action planning, as well as implementing all elements of sales execution.
  • Strong business acumen with proven territory management skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently as well as a strong team player.
  • Valid driver's license and maintenance of a satisfactory driving record.
