About the position

Exeltis is seeking a Territory Manager / Pharmaceutical Sales Representative for Women's Healthcare in Minneapolis, MN. This full-time position is designed for an experienced pharmaceutical sales professional who is driven by performance and has a strong desire to succeed. The successful candidate will be part of Exeltis' culture, mission, and values, which focus on providing exceptional customer service to the Women's Healthcare community. The role involves promoting Exeltis' portfolio of products that cater to women's changing health needs throughout their lifetime. The Territory Manager will be responsible for creating demand and executing sales and marketing strategies within the territory, primarily targeting OB/GYNs, high decile PCPs, and Planned Parenthood Clinics. In this role, the Territory Manager will educate existing and new physicians and their staff on the value of Exeltis' Women's Health products, providing them with essential product information and competitive insights that help them make informed choices for their patients. The position requires strong relationship-building skills to gain access to healthcare professionals (HCPs) and deliver meaningful customer experiences that foster satisfaction and loyalty. The Territory Manager will analyze sales data to identify potential opportunities and develop action plans to meet and exceed sales expectations. Additionally, the role involves addressing HCP objections and concerns, collaborating with sales management and team members, and participating in conferences and product launches as needed. Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary customer contact within the territory, creating demand and executing sales & marketing strategies for the Women's Healthcare product line.
  • Educate existing and new physicians and their staff on the value of the Company's portfolio of Women's Health products.
  • Utilize knowledge and dialogue skills to build strong relationships with HCP customers and office staff.
  • Analyze sales data to determine potential and execute an action plan to meet and exceed sales expectations.
  • Anticipate and address healthcare professionals' objections, questions, and concerns.
  • Identify and investigate customer concerns, communicating with appropriate HCP staff or Exeltis personnel to solve problems.
  • Communicate and collaborate with sales management, district teammates, and Commercial Team members as needed.
  • Take on leadership opportunities as appropriate.
  • Attend conferences, training, exhibits, meetings, and product launches as required.
  • Remain compliant with all regulations and adhere to company policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required, with an emphasis in the life sciences preferred.
  • 2+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience with documented sales success ranking in the top 25%.
  • Strong knowledge of budgeting and action planning, as well as implementing all elements of sales execution.
  • Current relationships with OB/GYNs are a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and as a strong team player.
  • Ability for 10-20% overnight travel to manage territory and/or attend meetings.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and maintain an acceptable driving record.
