About the position

The Territory Manager will oversee all sales activities for Kuhn North America within the designated territory, which includes Mississippi, Southern Louisiana, and Western Alabama. This role is crucial for establishing and maintaining a robust dealer network that is essential for achieving market leadership and meeting sales objectives. The Territory Manager will be responsible for developing strong relationships with dealers and customers, ensuring that dealership personnel are well-trained on the company's products and services, and leading sales planning initiatives to drive growth in the territory. Additionally, the Territory Manager will represent the company at various farm and equipment shows, showcasing the products and services offered by Kuhn North America. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication and organizational skills, capable of working independently while effectively managing multiple responsibilities. This position is home office based, allowing for flexibility in managing the territory while ensuring that sales targets are met and exceeded.

Responsibilities

• Manage all sales activities in the assigned territory (Mississippi, Southern Louisiana & Western Alabama).
• Develop and maintain a strong dealer network to achieve market leadership.
• Serve as the company liaison with dealers and customers.
• Lead dealer sales planning to grow territory sales.
• Ensure dealership sales and service personnel are trained on products and services.
• Represent the company at farm and equipment shows.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in agricultural engineering or business.
• Minimum of five years of experience in sales within a dealer-oriented industry.
• Knowledge of the agricultural and equipment industry.
• Familiarity with marketing and business management techniques.
• Proficiency in communications software, such as Microsoft Office.
