The Territory Manager will report to the Regional Sales Director and will be responsible for promoting and selling Walter, ArcOne, Drillco Triumph MTD, and Aerochem premium quality products to industrial, manufacturing, construction, and MRO facilities. Since all products are sold through distribution, the Territory Manager will also be responsible for marketing and training these products to all relevant distribution personnel. The territory to be covered includes San Francisco, Sacramento, and the surrounding Bay Area, requiring a proactive approach to sales and customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Promote and sell Walter, ArcOne, Drillco Triumph MTD, and Aerochem products to industrial, manufacturing, construction, and MRO facilities.
  • Market and train distribution personnel on product offerings.
  • Manage sales activities within the assigned territory of San Francisco, Sacramento, and surrounding Bay Area.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key accounts and distribution partners.
  • Generate and cultivate new leads to expand the customer base.
  • Demonstrate products during sales calls to showcase their benefits and features.
  • Handle a high volume of sales activities in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

  • Outside sales account manager experience or similar.
  • Deep knowledge of sales channels including welding, safety, construction, industrial, and STAFDA.
  • Experience in the Metalwork, Tooling, or Drill Bit industry strongly preferred.
  • Strong relationship-building skills and ability to generate new leads.
  • Ability to handle a high volume fast-paced environment and maintain composure.
  • Strong multi-tasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • A positive 'can do' attitude.
  • Hands-on experience with the ability to demonstrate products on sales calls.
  • Experience using Salesforce.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and ability to think quickly on your feet.
