About the position

The Territory Manager/Sales Representative at Hospitality Control Solutions (HCS) is responsible for driving sales and building relationships within the hospitality industry in the Knoxville market. This role involves identifying potential clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored Point of Sale solutions to enhance their operations. The position requires a proactive approach to sales, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while adhering to company guidelines.

Responsibilities

  • Identify foodservice establishments within the assigned territory and build relationships with hospitality business owners.
  • Link Point of Sale solutions to prospects' needs while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Understand competing solutions and position HCS's offerings to solve client problems.
  • Manage the entire sales process from cold calls and needs assessments to demos, closing sales, and handing off to technical staff.

Requirements

  • Restaurant and/or Bar experience is highly preferred.
  • Sales experience is a plus.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with an outgoing personality.
  • Self-motivation with the ability to work independently within company guidelines.
  • Problem-solving and critical thinking skills, with the ability to handle objections.
  • Aptitude to learn new technologies and solutions quickly.
  • Ability to perform well under pressure in a fast-paced environment to meet objectives.
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and professional maturity.
  • Ability to work flexible hours and travel as needed.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in technology sales.
