The Territory Manager/Sales position is a full-time role based in Tampa, FL, with a focus on implementing key selling strategies to maintain and develop new business opportunities. The primary responsibility lies with Plumbing Distributors and Contractors within the assigned territory, which includes new construction, service, and repair sectors. The role requires the individual to connect with influencers and decision-makers to achieve predetermined sales goals. In this position, the Territory Manager will research and analyze various sources to understand the sales potential of the territory and develop new prospective customers. A Territory Sales Plan will need to be developed and executed to meet or exceed both short and long-term sales goals. The role involves making in-person sales calls and presentations to existing and prospective customers, ensuring prompt follow-through on commitments made during sales calls. Effective written proposals and quotations for current and prospective customers are also a key part of the responsibilities. Teamwork is encouraged, with coordination of sales efforts alongside local Carr Company channel specialists. The individual will be expected to maintain current knowledge of the industry, including product changes, market conditions, and competitive activities.
