About the position

The Territory Manager/Sales position at Citizen Watch America involves representing the company to prospective and current accounts, focusing on generating sales through independent and local regional retailers in the assigned territory. The role emphasizes building relationships with retail partners, achieving sales targets, and ensuring effective product presentation and inventory management.

Responsibilities

  • Travel throughout assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to present products to retail buyers, solicit orders, and service accounts.
  • Drive sales to achieve targets within the territory through the development of existing retail partners and prospecting new retail opportunities.
  • Prepare weekly call reports in a timely manner for submission to the Regional VP.
  • Maintain basic inventory levels at all customer sites and prepare reorders as necessary.
  • Review sell-through analysis and negotiate order replenishment with buyers.
  • Ensure and improve store product presentations through merchandising, display, and secondary exposure opportunities, including digital presentations.
  • Maximize advertising opportunities within Company Co-op and Advertising Guidelines.
  • Train retail associates on products and programs.
  • Respond to and assist in resolving retailer concerns.
  • Assist in Credit/Collections in resolving outstanding retailer balances.
  • Participate as an active team member in local, regional, and national sales meetings.
  • Ensure full security of the sample line in accordance with corporate policy.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience in consumer product sales (watch, jewelry, luxury) is a plus.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft products: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
  • Ability to learn and use computer software.
  • Valid and clear driving record.
  • Ability to travel 75-100% of the time.
  • Ability to walk, sit, or stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
