About the position

The Territory Manager for Software Sales at SCIEX is responsible for driving revenue growth within a designated territory by supporting software sales related to mass spectrometry products. This role involves managing existing customer relationships, acquiring new customers, and generating sales opportunities through various outreach methods. The position is part of the Aftermarket Inside Sales Team and emphasizes collaboration with field sales and service teams to implement effective account strategies.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue and orders growth within a designated territory.
  • Support Software Standalone sales including upgrades, licenses, and support plans.
  • Manage existing customer relationships and acquire new customers.
  • Source new sales opportunities through inbound lead follow-up and outbound outreach.
  • Collaborate with field sales and service teams to develop account strategies.
  • Promote software sales through campaigns and digital marketing activities.
  • Participate in projects assigned by the manager for growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of successful experience in direct sales.
  • Ability to meet and exceed assigned territory forecasts and targets.
  • Knowledge of analytical methods and workflows from various customer environments.
  • Strong communication skills to convey value propositions to customers.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with LCMS Instrumentation and software support.
  • Understanding of customer organizations by market vertical and function.
  • CRM experience (Salesforce, SAP, Zoho).
