About the position

The TAVI Territory Manager is responsible for achieving sales and clinical objectives within the Structural Heart TAVI division. This role involves managing commercial accounts and trial sites, collaborating with the Regional Sales Director, and implementing customer-focused strategies to enhance patient outcomes. The position requires significant travel and direct involvement in clinical procedures, making it crucial for improving the quality of life for patients with structural heart disease.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure assigned territory meets or exceeds sales and clinical objectives for the Structural Heart TAVI division.
  • Collaborate with the Regional Sales Director to identify account opportunities and achieve quarterly sales goals.
  • Coordinate daily activities with Clinical Sales Specialists and the regional Clinical Lead Specialist.
  • Develop and implement customer-focused sales and clinical strategies to support TAVI program goals.
  • Provide customer quarterly business reviews and actionable sales plans using clinical and sales data analytics.
  • Utilize SFDC and other sales tools to manage the sales process effectively.
  • Complete field training to support cases solo and become an Abbott proctor delegate.
  • Scrub in sterile and provide valve loading and case support for TAVI procedures.
  • Evaluate patient anatomy and valve sizing for pre-case planning using CT programs and provide sizing reports.
  • Maintain proficiency with multiple imaging modalities and interpret ECG and hemodynamics.
  • Develop customer relationships and collaborate with hospital departments to identify key stakeholders.
  • Attend team meetings, trade shows, educational conferences, and webinars.
  • Provide in-services and onsite training for proper product use.
  • Maintain clinical expertise through product training sessions and manage account consignment.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of cardiovascular sales experience, with 5+ years in Structural Heart, TEVAR, EVAR, TCAR, or endovascular.
  • Experience with TAVI/Transcatheter valve industry case support of 300+ cases.
  • Demonstrated clinical competency and understanding of severe aortic stenosis disease state.
  • Strong clinical acumen, proven sales performance, and excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to satisfy vendor credentialing requirements, including potential COVID-19 vaccination.
