About the position

The Vision Territory Manager (VTM) at Bausch + Lomb is responsible for partnering with independent and retail affiliated Eye Care Practitioners (ECP) in the Greater Los Angeles area. The role focuses on achieving sales quotas and executing strategic business plans to enhance the growth of Bausch + Lomb's Vision Care products. The VTM will leverage product solutions to meet the needs of both patients and practices, ensuring sustainable growth and effective customer engagement.

Responsibilities

  • Meet/exceed the territory sales quota and key execution metrics established by sales leadership for the given territory
  • Execute effective sales calls to ECPs within the given territory using marketing materials and selling techniques
  • Develop account business plans for high volume customers to create sustainable growth trajectories
  • Responsible for executing an effective call cycle plan and formulating a strategic territory business plan
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical knowledge of all Bausch + Lomb Vision Care products
  • Utilize Salesforce.com CRM system to maintain accurate customer information and account progress
  • Work alongside industry distributor partners to fulfill customer needs and align business strategies
  • Attend National and Regional sales meetings and trade shows as needed
  • Coordinate ECP educational meetings in key markets
  • Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis (call logging, expense reports, etc.)
  • Adhere to AdvaMed Guidelines

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred, or a combination of professional certification (COT and/or OSA) and extensive ophthalmic experience
  • 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the eye health industry
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and a positive attitude
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to anticipate, understand, prioritize and meet customer needs
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork and workload planning skills
  • Adept communication skills in both verbal and written form
  • High aptitude for financial analysis and assimilation of complex information
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and standard digital technology tools
  • Physically able to perform job duties including driving long distances, lifting sample boxes (25 pounds), and standing for prolonged periods
