About the position

The Vision Care Territory Manager at Bausch + Lomb is responsible for partnering with independent and retail affiliated Eye Care Practitioners (ECPs) to achieve sales objectives and enhance the visibility of Bausch + Lomb's products. This role involves executing sales strategies, developing business plans, and maintaining customer relationships to drive growth in the designated territory.

Responsibilities

  • Meet/exceed the territory sales quota and key execution metrics established by sales leadership.
  • Execute effective sales calls to ECPs and utilize marketing materials to increase Bausch + Lomb contact lens prescriptions.
  • Develop account business plans for high volume customers to create sustainable growth trajectories.
  • Formulate a strategic territory business plan to develop new customers and accelerate growth with existing customers.
  • Demonstrate technical proficiency and clinical knowledge of Bausch + Lomb Vision Care products and competitive products.
  • Utilize Salesforce.com CRM system to maintain accurate customer information and account progress.
  • Work alongside industry distributor partners to fulfill customer needs and align business strategies.
  • Attend National and Regional sales meetings and trade shows as needed.
  • Coordinate ECP educational meetings in key markets.
  • Submit all administrative reports on a timely basis.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline preferred, or a combination of professional certification (COT and/or OSA) and extensive ophthalmic experience.
  • 3-5 years of successful B2B sales experience, preferably in the eye health industry, with a documented track record of success.
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently and a positive attitude.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to anticipate, understand, prioritize and meet customer needs.
  • Strong interpersonal, teamwork, and workload planning skills.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • High aptitude for financial analysis and assimilation of complex information.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and standard digital technology tools.
  • Physically able to perform job duties, including driving long distances, lifting sample boxes (25 pounds), and standing for prolonged periods.
