About the position

The Territory Manager is an outside sales professional responsible for driving sales and managing customer relationships in the Northwest, PA region. This role is crucial for generating significant gross transactional value for the company. The position involves proactive prospecting, cold calling, and managing existing accounts, with a focus on understanding customer needs and delivering tailored solutions. The Territory Manager will work closely with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals, while also attending auction sales to engage with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Sell various multi-channel solutions and maintain existing accounts while growing sales.
• Develop and manage the territory playbook and utilize the CRM (Salesforce) tool frequently.
• Understand customer needs and deliver customized solutions through presentations.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to negotiate and close deals.
• Attend 4 to 6 auction sales, spending 1 to 2 days at each event to meet with customers and colleagues.
• Travel overnight approximately 5 to 7 days per month to cover the territory and 1 to 2 days prior to each auction sale.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• 2 to 10 years in a structured outside/field sales role with a track record of meeting/exceeding quotas.
• Valid driver's license and clean driver's record.
• Preferred experience in the Equipment Industry or Construction Equipment.
• Experience in quota-driven sales is required.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Ability to build and maintain authentic customer relationships.
• Competitive nature without sacrificing integrity.
