About the position

The Territory Manager (TM) role at Medicaid Done Right (MDR) is focused on building and maintaining business relationships with families and long-term care facilities, specifically in the context of processing Medicaid applications. This position is not sales-oriented but is crucial in driving results and making a positive impact on patients' lives. The role requires daily travel and is integral to fulfilling MDR's mission of assisting patients and their families in navigating the Medicaid application process.

Responsibilities

  • Cultivate business relationships with families and long-term care facilities.
  • Assist residents in processing Medicaid applications.
  • Provide solutions and support to clients in a timely manner.
  • Prepare reports as required by the supervisor.
  • Maintain daily, consistent, and positive interactions with clients, facilities, and team members.

Requirements

  • 1 year of Medicaid experience required.
  • Past Business Office Manager (BOM) experience in Long Term Care Nursing home preferred.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience or case management experience.
  • Strong customer service skills with effective communication abilities.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proven ability to achieve goals set by supervisors.
  • Knowledge and possession of Notary commission, with support to obtain it if needed.
  • Ability to manage multiple cases with excellent organization and time-management skills.
  • Discretion in handling confidential and sensitive materials.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret company policies and procedures.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in a consulting role.
  • Familiarity with telephonic and electronic outreach methods.
