About the position

The Territory Operations Manager MOD is responsible for managing the modernization activities and functions of the company's product portfolio within a designated geographic area. This role focuses on achieving customer satisfaction and meeting strategic business objectives by developing and executing business plans, managing budgets, and leading a team of sales representatives and project managers. The position also involves building strong relationships with customers and industry consultants, ensuring high-quality service delivery, and overseeing operational efficiency and profitability.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the modernization of all products within the company's portfolio.
  • Drive acquisition and recovery efforts for units outside the portfolio.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to support financial and non-financial objectives.
  • Build and manage an operational budget and control expenditures.
  • Manage net working capital through asset management and billing procedures.
  • Develop a customer excellence plan to enhance service quality and customer loyalty.
  • Maintain strong commercial relationships with key customers and industry consultants.
  • Lead and mentor a team of sales representatives, field superintendents, and project managers.
  • Set employee objectives and manage performance to meet financial targets.
  • Engage in proactive labor relations with local business agents.
  • Review labor estimates for modernization bids and advise on manpower movement.
  • Lead modernization meetings and provide expert technical knowledge on projects.
  • Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards in operations.
  • Investigate and resolve escalated customer issues.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Management, or Engineering.
  • 5-7 years of experience in the elevator industry or a service-oriented business.
  • Experience managing a P&L for an industrial company.
  • Knowledge of product application and modernization techniques.
  • Ability to understand financial statements and legal contract terms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
