About the position

The Territory Sales Account Manager at Siemens is responsible for the development and maximization of account penetration and profitable growth for a designated portfolio of 30-50 accounts within the Digital Industries sector. This remote position focuses on achieving business targets through strategic account management, collaboration with partners, and leveraging Siemens' tools and resources to enhance customer engagement and market share growth.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maximize account penetration and profitable growth for assigned accounts.
  • Achieve account business targets through business planning, review, and revenue generation.
  • Communicate the customer value proposition for Siemens products and solutions at all organizational levels.
  • Collaborate with partners and Siemens Business Units to enter, expand, and defend assigned accounts.
  • Utilize tools like Account Business Plans and Digital Thread to engage customer executives.
  • Coordinate with other Siemens entities to maximize account penetration.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience selling technical products and solutions.
  • 8+ years of overall professional experience.
  • Technical knowledge of factory automation, motion control, drive systems, and Industrial Ethernet networks.
  • Proven track record of developing new business opportunities in a team environment.
  • Ability to identify customer challenges, develop relationships, and propose technical solutions.

Nice-to-haves

  • BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
