The Territory Sales Account Manager for Plastic Compounds is a pivotal role within our organization, focusing on driving profitable growth through strategic customer engagement and relationship building. In this role, you will be expected to deliver profitable revenue growth, which includes robust new business development and achieving gross margin targets. Establishing and tracking new business targets within your territory will be crucial, as will developing strong relationships with key decision-makers and project facilitators. Your responsibilities will also include prospecting and cold calling, managing sales and expense budgets, and developing account development plans that leverage resources across customer organizations. Additionally, you will be tasked with understanding industry trends, monitoring competition, and implementing the company's pricing and market strategies. Negotiating customer contracts to ensure a return on investment will be a key aspect of your role, as will participating in strategy development and defining target markets.
