About the position

The Territory Sales and Promotion Manager at Dunlop Sports Americas is responsible for achieving annual sales targets, expanding distribution, and promoting the Dunlop brand within a defined territory. This role involves establishing and maintaining customer relationships, conducting in-store clinics, and attending trade shows and tournaments to enhance product knowledge and support sales efforts. The position requires extensive travel within the territory and reports directly to the Director of Sales.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve annual sales targets for the Racquet Sports Business, including tennis, squash, and badminton.
  • Identify new targets and expand distribution within the defined territory.
  • Establish and maintain customer relationships and identify quality teaching professionals to promote the Dunlop brand.
  • Conduct in-store clinics and create a schedule for on-court demonstration days.
  • Attend local and regional trade shows, seminars, and tournaments.
  • Submit territory reports and market/product feedback according to a defined schedule.
  • Manage the Advisory Staff Coaches within the defined territory.
  • Identify local junior players who could be potential endorsers of Dunlop products.
  • Administer provided In-Store POS programs to facilitate product sell-through at retail.
  • Engage in miscellaneous projects related to sales and promotion development.

Requirements

  • Experience in sales, particularly in the sports or retail industry.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to establish customer relationships.
  • Ability to conduct in-store clinics and demonstrations effectively.
  • Experience in managing promotional activities and events.
  • Proficiency in creating reports and travel schedules.
