Our Territory Sales Engineers are a vital part of our team, providing innovative solutions to our customers every day as part of a highly dynamic and motivated team - no two days are ever the same! In this role, you will manage a $3M sales territory by providing technical sales support to maximize sales growth of Henkel's General Industrial Loctite Adhesives business in the Dallas and North Texas market. You will work the sales process to identify, develop, and quantify the appropriate value proposition for your customers by matching their needs with our adhesive's solutions. Your responsibilities will include motivating and training authorized industrial distributors to sell LOCTITE brand products and solutions, developing and presenting formal training sessions to industrial and manufacturing MRO customers, and prospecting for new business opportunities while managing an existing customer base. You will implement strategies to support the profitable growth of Henkel's product lines in the territory and prioritize & execute sales/marketing programs for the assigned area in alignment with Henkel's go-to-market strategies. Effective communication of progress and needs to the management team is essential, as is utilizing Henkel's Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools to manage sales engagement activities and project pipeline. You will also collaborate internally with customer service, marketing, engineering, and other functions to deliver an excellent customer experience while driving sustainable growth.

Responsibilities

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industrial or business-to-business sales experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business or Engineering preferred.
  • A self-starter who can use Henkel's resources to maximize opportunities within the territory.
  • Value-added selling experience and a successful track record working with design, manufacturing, quality engineering, and maintenance teams.
  • Time and project management skills using a CRM tool are required.
  • Team player who works well with others.
  • Experience working with industrial distribution is a plus.
