About the position

The position involves creating innovative technological solutions for unique customer challenges in the electrical distribution sector. The role focuses on collaborating with engineers and channel partners to design and implement electrical distribution systems that meet customer needs, while also promoting sustainability and efficiency in energy management.

Responsibilities

• Become a trusted advisor with Channel Partners and Electrical Contractors across several market segments.
• Influence and guide the design of small to large electrical distribution systems.
• Engage in solution sales of merchandised and engineered to order equipment for electrical networks.
• Connect Channel Partners to cutting-edge offers, applications, and tools for commercial success.
• Consult with various management and sales teams to promote Schneider Electric innovations.
• Work with cross-functional teams to deliver solutions that address customer needs.
• Interpret electrical plans and specifications to develop winning proposals.
• Drive market strategy and customer demand through multi-layered account plans.
• Exceed sales and profitability metrics to support Schneider Electric's growth ambitions.
• Communicate Schneider Electric's software, cloud analytics, and services story to channel partners.

Requirements

• 3+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or Communications preferred.
• Experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries preferred.
• Experience selling through distribution and to trade professionals.
• Familiarity with low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment and energy management technologies.
• Experience with consultative sales methodologies.

Nice-to-haves

• Familiarity with Square D Power Distribution Equipment such as busway, panelboards, transformers, and switchboards.
• Experience in coaching and training peers and customers.
