Responsibilities

  • Become a trusted advisor with Channel Partners and Electrical Contractors across several market segments to influence and guide the design of small to large electrical distribution systems.
  • Engage in solution sales involving both merchandised and engineered-to-order equipment for electrical distribution, monitoring, automation, and control.
  • Connect Channel Partners to innovative offers, applications, and tools to enhance their commercial success.
  • Collaborate with various teams including Channel Partner Management, Branch Management, and Project Management to promote Schneider Electric innovations.
  • Interpret electrical plans and specifications to create winning proposals for clients.
  • Drive market strategy and customer demand through comprehensive account plans, including pricing analytics and joint sales activities.
  • Exceed sales and profitability metrics to support Schneider Electric's growth objectives in the assigned market.
  • Communicate Schneider Electric's software, cloud analytics, and services to channel partners and contractors, aligning with their digital journey.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of relevant sales experience preferred.
  • A bachelor's degree in Engineering, Technology, Business, or Communications is preferred, or a combination of education and relevant experience.
  • Experience in electrical distribution or energy management industries, particularly selling through distribution to trade professionals.
  • Familiarity with low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment, controls, or energy management technologies, especially Square D Power Distribution Equipment.
  • Experience with consultative sales methodologies.
  • Strong interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers of varying technical abilities.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a matrix organization with diverse backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Self-management and multitasking skills to achieve results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Digital savviness to enhance personal effectiveness and that of customers.
