American Welding & Gas, Inc. (AWG) has an exciting opportunity for a Territory Sales Manager based in Houston, TX. This role is pivotal in leading our sales growth and future expansion in the surrounding states. As a Territory Sales Manager, you will be responsible for increasing sales and gross profit by establishing new customers and expanding business with existing customers within your assigned territory. This position requires a proactive approach to solution selling of gas products and technology, ensuring that both new and existing customers receive the highest level of service and support. In this role, you will develop and execute strategic plans to maintain and grow the existing customer base while negotiating pricing, terms, and conditions with both new and existing customers. You will utilize various CRM platforms, such as Outlook and Call Proof, for effective planning, scheduling, and time management of your sales territory. Building long-term relationships with strategic customers is essential, as you will facilitate product supply agreements and develop a robust customer portfolio. Additionally, you will actively manage existing customer Accounts Receivable balances to minimize working capital investment and financial risk. Responding to and resolving customer issues will be a key part of your responsibilities, requiring you to deploy necessary company resources effectively. Collaboration with local branch managers will also be crucial in promoting sales and managing customer relationships through retail store locations within your territory. You will be expected to meet goals and objectives set by management and perform various administrative duties, including managing expenses and completing sales profitability analyses.
