About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Hoya Vision Care is responsible for achieving sales objectives and growing sales volume for Hoya Vision Care products and services within targeted accounts in the Alaska and Portland markets. This role focuses on building customer loyalty and enhancing the business of Eye Care Professionals (ECPs) through effective marketing strategies, service excellence, and technical superiority. The position requires a strategic approach to territory management and the ability to foster strong relationships with customers and lab partners.

Responsibilities

  • Executing territory-specific strategy to achieve sales performance targets and establish customer relations.
  • Developing trusted advisor relationships with ECPs to grow their branded product sales and overall business.
  • Utilizing corporate tools to document, plan, monitor, and meet sales objectives within the territory.
  • Maintaining strong working relationships with lab partners to ensure successful customer relations and sales objectives achievement.
  • Communicating with the Regional Sales Manager regarding personal growth, strategy, sales results, and action plans.
  • Monitoring market changes and customer base to determine account volume, potential, and needs.
  • Developing and utilizing call schedules and key account business plans for effective territory planning.
  • Training Customer Service Personnel and lab representatives on Hoya Vision Care's products and promotions.
  • Monitoring competitor activities and implementing competitive sales strategies.
  • Managing the territory sales budget with emphasis on sales volume and account seminars.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree strongly preferred.
  • 1 to 3 years of demonstrated sales experience.
  • Demonstrated computer skills, particularly in Cognos and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong customer service and client relations experience.
  • Valid driver's license and access to a vehicle.
  • Ability to travel up to 90% of the time within the territory.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience in territory management and customer relationship management.
  • Presentation skills and experience conducting account seminars.
