About the position

This involves conducting sales visits, providing product demonstrations, and offering distributor sales training to ensure exceptional customer service and drive business growth. The TSR plays a significant role in promoting Flowers Bakeries' products and services, thereby contributing to the company's overall success and reputation in the market. The position requires the TSR to create and execute strategic sales plans aimed at generating profitable revenue in their assigned territory. Key activities include prospecting, cold calling, and scheduling sales visits. An effective TSR will actively seek out new business opportunities, expanding the company's customer base while staying informed about industry trends, competitor activities, and market developments. This knowledge will enable the TSR to provide valuable insights and recommendations to management, supporting informed decision-making. Flexibility and a willingness to travel within the assigned territory are essential, as the role requires travel 50-70% of the week.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain relationships with Foodservice Operators and Distribution customers.

Requirements

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
  • Ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
  • Willingness to travel within the assigned territory as required.
