About the position

The Territory Manager for the Bracing and Supports Business Unit is responsible for expanding sales of Company products in both acute and non-acute care markets. This role involves building customer relationships, providing product education, and managing sales activities to achieve assigned goals. The Territory Manager will leverage various resources, including GPO contracts and clinical studies, to convert competitive products and develop a strong customer base.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned sales goals and objectives through effective sales to designated accounts.
  • Cultivate customer relationships by initiating contact with physicians, clinic staff, and other device users.
  • Provide product education on technical and clinical aspects to customers and patients.
  • Assist with equipment delivery, set-up, follow-up, and service as needed.
  • Develop and execute a business plan to meet financial and market goals for the assigned territory.
  • Utilize SalesForce to maintain up-to-date contacts, opportunities, and outcomes.
  • Identify, qualify, and cultivate new sales opportunities and manage leads effectively.
  • Develop and maintain key customer relationships to achieve account objectives and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively cultivate competitive opportunities and defend against competitive threats.
  • Demonstrate efficient use of company resources to produce desired results.
  • Accurately complete and submit paperwork required for reimbursable sales.
  • Demonstrate commitment to compliance and ethical standards.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years outside sales experience required.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in Orthopedic Sales and knowledge of Durable Medical Equipment preferred.
  • Experience in medical sales strongly preferred.
  • Experience calling on hospitals preferred.
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent industry experience required.
  • Must possess a valid Driver's License and current automobile insurance.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience working with distributors preferred.
  • Knowledge of healthcare insurance and third-party reimbursement preferred.
