About the position

The Territory Sales Manager for Left Coast Extracts is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with B2B clients and partners in the cannabis industry across Western New York. This role involves significant travel, communication with dispensaries, and the ability to strategize sales efforts to increase revenue. The position requires a highly motivated individual who can work independently and is committed to achieving sales goals.

Responsibilities

  • Communicate with current and new shops to place orders.
  • Travel throughout Rochester, Syracuse, Buffalo, and all of Western New York.
  • Maintain sales accounts and get reorders while maintaining relationships with current partners.
  • Track daily activities, cold calls, and drop-ins in every shop once a week, managing up to 100 accounts.
  • Develop effective and high-yielding relationships with clients.
  • Understand clients' needs and adapt accordingly.
  • Educate dispensaries and budtenders on quality cannabis products.
  • Strategize how to upsell products and find new needs in existing accounts.
  • Attend social events to expand your network in the industry.
  • Provide weekly reports and updates to the sales manager and team.
  • Take over existing accounts with the intention to increase their sales.
  • Work with the Sales Manager and Brand Ambassadors to plan and execute promotional demos at dispensaries.
  • Act as the point of contact for buyers at dispensaries.

Requirements

  • Must have sales experience.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Outstanding organizational skills.
  • Ability to develop and maintain long-term relationships with clients.
  • Self-motivated and able to set own schedule with intention and discipline.
  • Excellent social skills, comfortable in cannabis culture.

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior cannabis experience or knowledge is helpful.
